Favourite hobbies/ interests
I LOVE to draw as a hobby but something weird about me is that I can flair my nostrils out a lot and it looks really funny, I don’t really do it in public though.
How long have you been drawing or creating art?
I have been drawing since I was able to even HOLD a pencil or a crayon. I think I was about two or three years old when I drew my first drawing (on a wall that is). I’m pretty sure it was a drawing of my dad but it really just looked like dog poo smeared on a wall. It was drawn in a few different coloured crayons scribbled all over what I thought was a piece of paper. Funnily enough, I haven’t really ever been in any drawing competitions except for this one and I think one other one that’s a bit of a faint memory now. A weird thing about me is that I have WAY over three hundred art styles that I have created over the years. One of my favourites is one I developed only recently. I call it “The new art style I made up” because I actually haven’t thought of a name for it yet.

What do you like about the story “A Shooting Star”?
I like the storyline of this book because gratitude and being kind to others is one of the best things I can think of.
What does it mean to you to be part of this book with the other child illustrators around the world?
It means so much to me. I used to write and illustrate my own little books and comics when I was little. Ever since than I didn’t stop drawing, writing and creating. I used to hope and hope that one day I’d be in an official book, a published one. Here I am.
How have you used the shooting star with your family or friends?
Yes, I used it at school with my friends. We sat under a tree at break and shared shooting stars with each other.
What advice would you give children or teenagers about going for your dreams?
Well I always say to myself, I would rather make use of my art than leave it in the dark, forgotten. Forever. Instead I strive to do my best in art to make my family proud and to make other children happy.
As a wise kid, what message to you think humanity/humans needs to hear right now.
A message to be heard RIGHT NOW is that we all as humans NEED to think about our actions before we do them. Our world is dying before our eyes. In my opinion we need to stop the production of plastic GLOBALLY. I’m serious. The amount of JUNK being dumped into the ocean is not ok. Even after the Australian fires we still need to think about the animals that need us RIGHT NOW. The koalas of Australia are now on the endangered list of unfortunate animals. As a wise kid I believe we have little time to save the future of the world. We start now.
Name one person in your life who you would love to give a shooting star to. Why?
I would love to gift a shooting star to my auntie, Kym Tankey. She made this possible for me. Thankyou auntie Kym if you are reading this.
