How long have you been drawing or creating art?

I really started to love drawing when I was in Prep.
There was a lot of focus around art and it soon became my favourite subject and still is. I love to sketch and paint.
Drawing makes me feel calm and happy. I would love to write and illustrate books for kids when I get older and have with nice messages that make them feel happy.

What do you like about the story “A Shooting Star”?
I love the message of celebrating the good qualities in others and spreading kindness.

What does it mean to you to be part of this book with the other child illustrators around the world? It feels amazing to be part of a great, fantastic book and that kids from other parts of the world are also connected through the book together. I think that’s really cool.

How have you used the shooting star with your family or friends?

We give shooting starts out when we notice they are doing something kind without being asked to.

What advice would you give children or teenagers about going for your dreams?
Don’t ever give up on your dreams. You are amazing and whats in your heart is what matters.

As a wise kid, what message to you think humanity/humans needs to hear right now?

That we are all shooting stars and can do anything we set our mind to.

Name one person in your life who you would love to give a shooting star to. Why?

My mum because she is so special to me and she makes me feel special, she makes me laugh and I love her so much.
